This past weekend was my cousin's wedding and I was the unofficial wedding assistant to her and my aunt. Wedding planning is a whole new realm for me, but I find it just as invigorating and fun as interior design (and not to mention very similar). The wedding was held at Tuckahoe Plantation here in Richmond and a theme of classic blue and white fit in perfectly with the historic setting. The weather was not in our favor, but the sun broke through just in time for the ceremony, followed by cocktails in the gardens. The thunderstorms poured through just as everyone was gathered under the reception tent - which made for an extremely fun evening. So, enjoy this little sampling of some details I helped out with, as well as some beautiful photographs of the plantation.
